The 24-year-old diva, born Jessica Ellen Cornish, is now on an equal footing
with the Take That and American pop sensation Lady Gaga in terms of a single
album's pop chart success. Take That’s 2010 album Progress and Lady Gaga's
debut Fame each had six hits in the UK's Top 10 chart too.
Laserlight, Jessie J's latest single featuring David Guetta, went to the top
of the charts in the UK .
The track features on the platinum edition of her album, which peaked at
number two in the UK album charts. Three of the six songs - Price Tag,
Domino, and now Laserlight - were number one hits.Telegraph
The star's following has been given a boost by her appearance as a judge on
the BBC's new flagship talent show The Voice, which aired for a total of
three prime time television hours this weekend.
