Matt Cardle

Matt Cardle Download has reportedly "parted ways" with his record label.
The When We Collide singer, who beat the likes of One Direction, Rebecca Ferguson and Cher Lloyd on the 2010 series, has apparently decided not to renew his deal with Columbia.
Speaking of Matt's decision, a source told The People: "He is hoping to take his career in a different direction. Everyone wishes him well."
The 29-year old is said to be working on the follow-up to his 2011 debut album Letters in LA, with Cardle telling The Daily Star in March that he would like the record to be released ASAP, adding: "It has to be right and I'm not going to be rushed."MTV
In other related news, last year's XF runner-up Marcus Collins is allegedly close to be dropped by his record label RCA, with an insider telling The Daily Star Sunday: "Marcus's sales have been really disappointing.
"Although his album went in at number seven, it only spent three weeks in the Top 40. No-one expected him to flop but he's one of the most unsuccessful runners-up in the show's history."View
They added: "He has to pull it out of the bag with his second single. If that bombs, there's unlikely to be a third."
