has this incredible ability to bring good old rock n roll back into the 21st Century. If his new single is anything to go by, album number two will continue to do this to the max.Amazon
‘Give Up’, which was previewed on Radio One last week, brings Miles back into the spotlight alongside a stream of incredible male rock artists on the scene at the moment. Noel Gallagher, Richard Hawley, Jake Bugg… who needs a band eh? ‘Give Up’ has all the elements to be a fab rock n roll record – pulse-raising guitar riffs and powerful vocals filled with angst, though Miles apparently sees this record as demonstrating a more ‘upbeat and uplifting’ side to his music. Not sure myself, judging by these lyrics! Either way it’s a catchy number and no doubt will have the fans singing along at his live shows. Personal memories of his set at Leeds Festival continue to hold a special place in my heart. I can’t wait to hear more of album number two, which is due for release later this year!
