Bullet For My Valentine

Bullet For My Valentine
Amazon has changed over the years by a lot if you listen to song you and expect the same bullet for my valentine has the older releases you'll be pretty disappointed they've changed over the years and i can honestly say i like this a little more then old bullet i will miss old bullet though. But change is bond to happen the vocals are a bit different then they used to be the solos are different. Everything's different and in my opinion it sounds really good. Old bullet fans, it may take awhile to get into but you'll love it sooner or later. I like this single and i'll be sure to pick up the album when it's sold!
Breakdown:
Cleans: I'm basically going to call them cleans because they don't sound like screams at all. but that's all you'll really here in this song and him yelling "RIOOTTT" at certain parts of the song. I'v always been a fan of the vocals in this song matts always been one of the few people's vocals i can enjoy no matter what he does to them.
Instruments: They're still heavy with the drums and guitar though! They didn't let those go away at all. You have to love the solos. And the drums sound good.

Paul McCartney

Paul McCartney
has taken to Twitter to post an animated clip featuring his late wife, photographer Linda McCartney.Ram

The colourful video, which is soundtracked by Paul McCartney singing 'Heart of the Country', shows an animated Linda McCartney – complete with her camera – walking alongside a host of animals and cooking for them.

This has led to speculation that the clip is part of a new advertising campaign for Linda McCartney's range of vegetarian foods. NME

'Heart of the Country' was written by Paul and Linda McCartney and originally featured on the 1971 album, 'Ram'.

Lianne La Havas Lost & Found

Lianne La Havas Lost & Found
Amazon the song's simplicity coupled with the pair's vocal interplay will demand further exploration. the emotional immediacy of 'lost and found' (produced by matt hales) sits perfectly within the sparse landscape of its contemplative lyrical surroundings. 'age' (produced by dan carey) is a vintage and witty tale about not giving a damn about age when it comes to love. lianne recently performed 'age' for the black cab sessions - feedback was unanimous, a star had been born. 'night school's' film noir themes are stylishly folded within modest arrangements and a voice that dances between octaves at total ease. final track on the ep is a cover of everything everything's 'final form' (produced by matt ingram) here lianne grabs the original by the balls and combines smoky vocals and smoking baselines, reminiscent of early offerings from neo-soul pioneers such as erykah badu. lianne la havas first began to make music at the age of 7. rather than being pushed into lessons by over-zealous parents, lianne was given her first keyboard by her father and was allowed the pleasure of being left to her own devices. lianne nurtured her talent singing in school choirs and musicals; all the while feeding her voracious musical appetite with a broad range of influences. far from turning her into an imitation, lianne's influences helped her find her own voice. from heroines of relative antiquity such as nina simone, to the likes of lauryn hill, great voices inspired lianne to use her own. after making the decision to leave art school two years ago she's grown in skill and confidence.

Johnny Marr

Johnny Marr
The former Smiths guitarist and Cribs collaborator is set to release his debut solo album ‘The Messenger’ on 25 February. Amazon

'Upstarts', the first single to be taken from the new record, will be available to dowmload from 18 February. It will also be released on 7" vinyl, backed by the new non-album track 'Psychic Beginners'.

Marr recently told NME that 'Upstarts' is "about the joy of defiance". He added: "I wanted to encapsulate it in a catchy tune, rather than getting too serious about it." Marr produced the track himself, as well as contributing vocals and guitar.

Recorded in Manchester and Berlin, 'The Messenger' was mastered at Abbey Road by Frank Arkwright who also collaborated with Marr on the remastering work for The Smiths' box set 'Complete'.

Having lived in Portland, Oregon since 2005, Marr returned to the UK to commence work on 'The Messenger'. "The underlying idea of the record is my experience of growing up in Europe," he explains. "When you’re away from your home city you’re more compelled to write about it, whether that’s because you’re homesick or you’ve got more objectivity, I don’t know. Growing up in the city influences you, and I’ve continued to see, stories and energy in it."

Marr will travel the UK on his debut solo tour in March:

Oxford, O2 Academy (March 10)
Norwich, Waterfront (11)
Cambridge, Junction (12)
Brighton, Concorde (14)
London, O2 Shepherds Bush Empire (15)
Birmingham, HMV Institute (16)
Sheffield, Leadmill (18)
Glasgow, ABC (19)
Liverpool, O2 Academy (20)
Manchester, HMV Ritz (22)

David Bowie

David Bowie
Where Are We Now, will not be allowed to enter the singles chart because any downloads of the track have been tied to sales of the singer's upcoming album.
The track has been outruled by the Official Charts Company despite topping the download charts on iTunes. The technicality has been caused by the fact that fans who want to download Where Are We Now? can only do so by pre-ordering Bowie's new album, The Next Day, which will be available in March. Those ordering the album get an instant download of the single, and pay the 99p it costs, but will have to spend the remaining cost of The Next Day when it is available. The single is not available to own from any other outlets.
Charts officials say that because sales for the album pre-order and the single can not be differentiated, Where Are We Now? cannot be counted for the chart. However, a spokesperson said that any future track releases that go on sale seperately from the album will be eligible.
Bowie suprised fans on Tuesday by releasing the single on his website, with an accompanying video. The track was then played during the Today programme on Radio 4. It's the first single from the Ziggy Stardust singer in a decade. Bowie's lack of public appearances since 2006 have caused rumours to emerge that he has been in ill health, which have been disputed.
