says Justin Bieber has "nothing to worry about" following his snub in the Grammy Award nominations for 2012.
The 'Boyfriend'
singer had been a favourite to pick up several nominations in the
announcement last week but failed to be shortlisted in any category, but
Justin's protege Carly says the Canadian star will simply "keep on
going" despite the snub.
"Yeah, Justin's an extremely talented guy and one of the
hardest working people that I know in the business," Carly exclusively
told Capital FM, when asked about the star's recent Grammys snub. "No, I haven't talked to him about it.
"I know that the way he handles most things is just to
keep on going and he's got a really strong following so I don't think he
has anything to worry about."
In the wake of the news last week Justin's manager Scooter Braun spoke out about the board's decision on Twitter, saying he disagrees with them and feels "the kid deserved it".
Carly Rae Jepsen is currently promoting her new album
'Kiss', after being signed to Justin Bieber's label Schoolboy Records at
the start of 2012.
