After months of speculation, K-Pez and Mayer were seen getting cosy while watching Mick Jagger and Co in action at the Prudential Center, with The Daily Mail reporting that at one point, John was seen 'whispering sweet nothings' into her ear.The sighting of the pair watching The Stones together comes after Perry was allegedly heard introducing Mayer as her boyfriend on Wednesday evening (12th December) as they attended a performance of A Christmas Story: The Musical In New York City on Broadway.
Their appearance at the show was the first time they have walked the red carpet together, with Katy and the 35-year old later going backstage to meet the cast.MTV
According to Us Weekly, a source has claimed Perry told the actors: "This is my boyfriend John", before adding: "Come on, baby, let's take a picture."The source revealed Mayer was happy to do so and didn't want to 'hog the spotlight', stating: "You would think he was just a supportive boyfriend.
