Come A Little Closer
“Come a Little Closer” is a big ball of epicness in the fact that it shows that they are evolving as a band. Lead singer Matthew Shultz incorporates the perfect amount of antagonization in the questions he asks us in the chorus (“Do you understand the things that you would see here?” and “Do you understand the things that you’ve been dreaming?”) as well as moodiness when he repeatedly wails “Time flies by, they all sing along” in the bridge.
