Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner have reportedly split up after almost two years together.
According to Life & Style magazine, Lavigne and The Hills star have called it quits over their opposing views to marriage.
A source has 'confirmed' their break up to the publication, stating: "They decided to end their relationship. It wasn't working out and they wanted to go their separate ways.
"She wanted to settle down, but he wasn't exactly ready.They had been having problems starting in the summer with her tour because she was on the road all the time. It put a strain on their relationship."
The Complicated singer started dating Jenner shortly after filing for divorce from Sum 41 front man Deryck Whibley in 2009.
Despite the allegations, there has been no official word from either Avril or Brody, with both parties remaining quiet on their official Twitter pages.
