The 1975

The 1975
grows stronger by the day, with their latest track ‘Chocolate’, hitting the spot with it’s soft indie-guitar jaunting.
They began their headline UK tour today, just days after having appeared as part of Radio 1′s Futures Festival, and have announced the track is the lead single from their upcoming EP ‘Music For Cars’, available through Dirty Hit Records on March 4th.

The sound is always developing with the four-piece, this time taking on a more youthful and playful guitar sound. Whilst they’re normally far more eclectic in their sound, this time a strong melody sees them wist away the minutes with potentially knee-bobbing and head-nodding indie action. “Guns hidden under our petticoats” hark the lyrics at one point; rather ironic given their current status as one of the most talked about bands on the circuit, which is perhaps what’s earned them a place at South By South West(SXSW) in Austin, America next month, along with other emerging British names like Bastille.
