are on course to score their first ever UK No.1 album with Take Me Home, according to Midweek figures.
Their sophomore LP has managed to shift a cool 94,000 copies in just two days - meaning it is on track to be the fastest-selling record in the UK so far in 2012 Rod Stewart is currently at No.2 with his festive collection Merry Christmas Baby, while the Rolling Stones complete the top three with LP, GRRR!
Over in the singles chart, Bruno Mars and Little Mix are currently battling it out for the top spot, with Mars' Locked Out Of Heaven just 3,000 copies ahead of The X Factor girlband's song, DNA.
1D are sitting pretty at No.3 with Ed Sheeran-penned track Little Things, while McFly debut in the countdown at No.7 with new tune, Loving Is Easy.MTV
Stooshe's cover of the TLC song Waterfalls in currently in fourteenth place, while Sheeran makes another appearance, this time with his own song
