The band performed at the at Kex Hostel venue under the name 'Bóluefnin', a literal translation of The Vaccines in Icelandic language.
As part of their set, the band played a cover of 'Ó Reykjavík' by local band Vonbrigði. The London-based band's Icelandic bassist, Árni Hjörvar, swapped places with singer Justin Young for the track.
The Vaccines recently confirmed details of their biggest UK tour to date with a run of arena shows announced for May 2013.NME
The run of shows also includes dates in Leicester, Manchester, Liverpool, two nights in Glasgow, Cardiff, Doncaster, Newcastle, Birmingham and the band's biggest headline gig of 2012 at London's Alexandra Palace.
