Dappy

The N-Dubz star’s debut solo effort, Bad Intentions, is currently languishing at No.6 in the midweek album charts. But that’s just not good enough for the Camden kid, who told me: “If it don’t go No.1 I will be devastated, I’m going to curl up in a ball and cry.Download
“If I don’t go No.1 what am I gonna do? It’s over?” Dappy, 25, knows he faces stiff chart competition.
He said: “Obviously I got Taylor Swift and Lawson also releasing albums and I’m sh*t scared if I tell you the truth.
“It’s got to stay No.1 or No.2 midweek and got to stay that position by miles for Sunday. I got a dream to fulfil and kids to feed.”
Blood, sweat and tears went into the making of Bad Intentions.Dailystar
He revealed: “I could’ve kept going adding to the album but when I lost all the weight in my face and my body I thought ‘I got to stop’.
“My metabolism was running crazy. We was sleeping at eight in the morning waking up at six in afternoon. Eating once a day – so you can imagine four months of that. I’m only just coming around to normal life again now.”
But whether he hits No.1 or not Dappy is refusing to give up.
He added: “I’m on fire, the album is just a taster of what’s to come.
“I’m keeping it very diverse, switching every second.
“The second album is coming too, we are already onto the next one.
“Fingers crossed for Sunday.” Bad Intentions is out now.
